Get Ready for St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations in New Jersey

St. Patrick’s Day is a worldwide celebration of Irish culture and traditions, where people are encouraged to join the party, whether they’re of Irish descent or not. Although many places are known for hosting St. Patrick’s Day celebrations, we like to think that nobody does it better than Jersey. Here’s a list of all the fun celebrations you can enjoy!

St. Patrick’s Day Parades (Various Dates and Locations)

 
Pretty much all of New Jersey will be hosting a parade in celebration of St. Patrick’s Day. The only question is, which parade will be the best of the best? Jersey residents have been debating this question for decades. We’ll let you decide. 

March 1    –  Belmar/Lake Como

March 7    –  Seaside Heights

March 8    – Asbury Park

March 14  –  Sea Isle City, Atlantic City, North Wildwood

This is a short list to keep in mind as various shore towns are still deciding the exact dates of their St. Patty’s Day parades. 

St. Patrick’s Day Plunge and 5K (March 14 – Cape May)

 
If you want to start your celebration on a positive note, you should consider signing up for the St. Patrick’s Day Plunge and 5K, which isn’t very far from many Cape May vacation rentals. Participants have the option of choosing from multiple events: 

     • Plunge and 5K

     • Plunge and 1-mile walk

     • 1-mile walk

The contributions from these events benefit the Cape May Food Closet, which is a local organization of volunteers focused on providing food for those in need in the community. Whichever activity you choose to participate in, make sure you’re well-hydrated before you head to the after-party at Carney’s.

Are you looking for a fun-filled day of activities? Welcome to Sea Isle City – St. Patrick’s Day edition.
