Make Sure You Take Great Photos of Your Listing: Here’s Why

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, but when it comes to posting your listing for shore house rentals in Long Beach Island, and all along the Jersey Shore, pictures can be worth thousands of dollars.

That’s because there is a direct correlation between the quality of a listing’s images and the success and final price of a rental rate you can collect. Professional-quality photography can help with every step of the renting-out process:

Your Listing Will Attract More Views.

Across all price tiers, listings with photos taken by experienced photographers “receive an average of 61% more views than their peers.”1

You Can Post a Higher Asking Price.

With professional photographs, you can showcase your listing to its best advantage and ask top-dollar prices. Listings with professional-quality photographs “have a 47% higher asking price per square foot.”2

You’ll Have a Higher Likelihood of a High-Price Sale.

3
Selling or renting out a home priced above $300,000 can be a challenge, but with professional-quality photographs, you’ll impress potential buyers and renters who are in the market and willing to pay your price.

Find a Renter Faster.

With more views and more interested renters, it’s common sense that professional-quality photos will help you reach a deal more quickly. These listings “secure thousands of dollars more in rental income” than those with photos taken by the owners themselves.4

Hire Someone to Take Your Photos For You.

People are often tempted to take their own photos. They ask the dangerous question, “how hard could it be?”, and figure it’s cheaper to take their own. Then, they find out that taking professional-quality photos is a job for someone with experience. It’s an investment that will pay off.

That doesn’t mean you have to hire an ultra-expensive professional. Even amateurs, as long as they have experience in marketing and interior shooting, can achieve a quality that will make a difference for your listing, especially when these images are enhanced by staging. Staging can include simple tweaks like turning on the lights, rearranging the furniture, and hiding clutter out of sight.5 These seemingly minor actions can make a big difference in adding to the visual appeal of your photos.

The next time you post a listing for beach vacation rentals on LBI (or anywhere else, for that matter), you can be sure to secure the most income for your rental with professional-quality photos.

And when you have a property to rent, be sure to post your listing with Shore Summer Rentals. Contact us today!

How Can You SAVE With Direct Booking?

How is ShoreSummerRentals.com different than our competitors? We let you book beach vacation rentals in Stone Harbor and all along the shore directly with the property owner. That means that owners have more control over their bookings, and you don’t have to pay costly service fees!

Here’s why we recommend booking your next vacation rental with us:

Don’t Pay Hidden Fees

Other companies charge a hefty service fee to both owners and renters (up to 15%!) when you book a rental through their website. You don’t pay those fees at ShoreSummerRentals.com. Instead, imagine each of our rental listings as an old-fashioned newspaper ad that you can find online. Owners pay to place their properties on our website, and we won’t charge one more penny to our owners and renters never pay us a dime. That means that you and them have more cash in hand!

Have Confidence in Your Vacation Rental

All of our owners must undergo a thorough verification process to prove that they own any rental properties that they post on our website. To ensure the best possible experience, we also recommend that all renters request references and a list of former renters from the property owner before agreeing to rent. Also, visiting the property in person with the owner is highly recommended.

Speak Directly with the Property Owner

Most of our competitors act as a middleman between you and the owner of your vacation rental. With these companies, it’s possible to never even speak with the owner. Working directly with a property owner can have many benefits, however, ranging from restaurant recommendations to better pricing.

Find the Right Rental — Fast!

You can discover hundreds of vacation rentals by owner on ShoreSummerRentals.com. Our advanced search system allows you to search for a property that’s the right size, the right price, and the right location. You can also narrow down your rental options based on specific criteria: close to the beach, pet-friendly, wheelchair accessible, and so much more!

Are You Ready for Your Next Vacation?

Summer isn’t so far away, so book your shore rental with ShoreSummerRentals.com! If you have any questions about our vacation rentals by owner in Stone Harbor and beyond, then give us a call at 609-536-9603. We’re always happy to help our renters find the perfect property!

Owners: Work Closely with Our Team

At ShoreSummerRentals.com, we are a small but dedicated team who works closely with you to ensure that you receive an incredible return on investment, while simultaneously charging less than our competitors. We get to know each of our clients personally, and you can always give us a call. Visit our vacation owner cost comparison page to find out how to stop wasting money. Our cost is as low as $299 per year where the other sites’ costs can run up to $2500 a year for a 3k weekly rental. (Estimation based on renting 10 weeks at $3,000 per week).

Owners: Can Reach More Renters Than Ever Before

Each year, more than a thousand owners trust us to keep their beach homes busy. To connect them with even more renters, we’re excited to announce that we will be launching a new website around April 2019.

Renters: Find the Perfect Rental at the Perfect Price

What are you looking for in your vacation rental by owner in Ocean City, or anywhere else along the New Jersey coast? An ocean view? A pool? A pet-friendly location? A last-minute gem? You can find all of that and more here on ShoreSummerRentals.com.

Renters and Owners: Don’t Pay Booking Fees

Most of our competitors charge a hefty booking fee that takes a bite out of renters’ wallets and owners’ profits. We promise never to charge that fee. Instead, we let renters book directly with owners to avoid extras fees. Visit our vacation renter cost comparison page to find out how renters can stop wasting money. Renters can save over $300 on a $3,000 rental.

We Love the Shore!

Our team grew up by the Jersey Shore. We know the challenges of renting a home by the ocean and the joys of smelling the salt in the air for the first time in a long time.
