New Jersey is Reopening on July 2! Here’s What to Expect!

It feels like forever ago that we were able to freely enjoy the boardwalk and seaside attractions of the Jersey Shore. In the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, New Jersey was one of the states that were hit the hardest. As a result, Governor Murphy took swift action in closing all non-essential businesses in an effort to protect local residents. Now that cases have finally wound down and everyone has ramped up safety measures, New Jersey businesses can finally open their doors to the public once again.

However, seeing as we’re not out of the woods yet, restrictions will be imposed on all restaurants, amusement parks, water parks, and other boardwalk attractions. We’ve outlined the safety measures below:

  • Employers and staff must wear masks at all times while on the job.
  • Amusement parks have to limit attendance to 50% of their capacity.
  • Indoor dining have to limit attendance to 25% of their capacitypostponed June 29, 2020 until further notice.
  • Casinos have to limit attendance to 25% of their capacity – no alcohol or food will be served or permitted inside.
  • Outdoor activities can accommodate up to 250 people.
  • Guests and visitors must be seated at least six feet apart from each other at all times.
  • Workers are to sanitize high-touch surfaces before and after use.

Since indoor restaurants, amusement parks, casinos, and other boardwalk activities are opening on July 2nd, the start of the holiday weekend, we encourage everyone to wear masks and stay safe in the crowd. Take a look at what’s coming soon at your favorite beach and book your beach house in the NJ town of your choice today!
