Great home

My family stayed a week in this home. It was immaculate, well stocked with all the appliances, grill, and gadgets you reach for as you cook, and had an incredible choice in cable options. we fished (didn't catch but did fish!) hit the beach every day, walked to miniature golf, played board games, and had a great, lazy vacation. Roger was easily available by text/phone to answer one or two questions I had. If schedules work out we would definitely rent here again.

Perfect Surf City home base!

This was our third year vacationing as a family of four in Surf City and our first in this beautiful beach home. I hope that it was the first of many more to come because this house was really just perfect. "Immaculate" is no exaggeration - the house was in incredible condition and exceptionally clean when we arrived. We cooked 2-3 meals a day in the lovely kitchen and enjoyed using the nice gas range and outdoor grill. If you like listening to music while you cook and dine you'll love the built-in soundsystem in the kitchen and living area! The living area is so bright and sun-filled and gets a perfect cross-breeze when you open the sliding doors and windows. We spent many a night stargazing from the decks after our children (ages 2 and 4) went to sleep.
The outdoor shower wasn't just a place to de-sand after the beach, but an actual shower with hot water and a mirror! No need to shower outdoors then go back inside for a second - you can do it all in the outdoor stall.
The location was ideal - an extremely short walk to either the beach or the bay. Just around the corner is Blue Claw seafood - a must-visit for fresh fish and incredible crab cakes. It's also a short walk to the 5 and dime, a liquor store, a fitness studio, and several shops. Everyone in Surf City is super friendly - we met several neighbors during our stay both around the house and on the beach.
The owners of this house are lovely people, we thank them for their superb hospitality and can't wait to return next year.
