Import/Export Calendars with Ical
If you advertise your vacation rental on other platforms, you can link all of your Ical calendars to prevent double bookings. You'll need to create a two-way connection. You'll get a URL from SSRNJ.com to add to other websites, then get a URL from the other website and add it to SSRNJ.com. Your calendars will then match—when a night is booked on one calendar, it'll be automatically blocked on the other. Automatic syncing may take up to 2 hours to refresh unless manually refreshed.

Be sure to update your direct bookings from SSRNJ.com before exporting our link to import to other platforms.

Add an SSRNJ.com direct booking to SSRNJ.com calendar

  1. Login to your SSRNJ.com account.
  2. Click on “CALENDAR”.
  3. Click on "ADD MANUALLY" button.
  4. Look to the right and enter: arrival date, departure date, customer name (not required) and rental source (not required).
  5. Select Booking Status: Confirm or Pending.
  6. Click the Save button.
  7. Confirm the dates entered are correct.

Note: if you have a pending booking, be sure to log back in when the booking is confirmed and click the CONFIRM button for that time period.

Manually edit or delete a SSRNJ.com direct booking

  1. Login to your SSRNJ.com account.
  2. Click on “CALENDAR”.
  3. Look to the right under RESERVATION LIST.
  4. Click on the edit icon next to the booking you want to edit or delete.
  5. To edit booking, make the changes and click the “SAVE" button.
  6. To delete booking, click "DELETE RESERVATION".​

We’ll give you a URL that you’ll paste into the other website’s calendar—this will send information from your SSRNJ.com calendar to the other website. You can connect to another hosting website like VRBO, Airbnb, Booking and more.

  1. Login to your SSRNJ.com account.
  2. Click “CALENDAR” on the listing you want to update.
  3. Click on the Import/Export button.
  4. Click on “EXPORT SSRNJ.COM CALENDAR”
  5. Copy URL
  6. Paste your SSRNJ.com URL link into the other platform’s iCal-based calendar.

Step 3: IMPORT EXTERNAL CALENDARS TO YOUR SSRNJ.COM CALENDAR   ➡️  View short how-to video
You’ll need to get a URL from the other website’s calendar and add it to SSRNJ.com.
On most websites, you can find this in a section dedicated to calendar importing and exporting.
Make sure the URL is Ical compatible because other URLs won’t work.

  1. Login to your SSRNJ.com account.
  2. Click “CALENDAR” on the listing you want to update.
  3. Click on the Import/Export button.
  4. Click on Import External Calendar
  5. Enter Calendar Name
  6. Enter Calendar URL Link from other platform.
  7. Click “IMPORT CALENDAR”.

Nights that you manually block on SSRNJ.com will be blocked on the other website’s calendar.
Nights booked on another website’s calendar will be automatically blocked on SSRNJ.com when you’ve connected them to your SSRNJ.com calendar.
Nights that you block on another calendar may or may not be blocked on SSRNJ.com.
Refer to their help section to see which blocking settings will be reflected on your SSRNJ.com calendar.

REFRESH AND OR/DISCONNECT IMPORTED CALENDARS ON SSRNJ.COM  ➡️  View short how-to video

Refresh Imported Calendars on SSRNJ.com
Your SSRNJ.com calendar automatically updates every hour pulling in information from the other calendars you’ve connected. Our calendars refresh every 2 hours. If you want to see the updates sooner, you can manually refresh your calendar by going to your connected calendar and selecting "Refresh".  If you’ve connected multiple calendars, they may automatically update at different times. We’ll show the latest time that each calendar was updated. Note that we’re only able to request updates from the other website so many times; if you exceed that amount of updates, you’ll need to wait until the next automatic update.  

Disconnect Imported Calendars on SSRNJ.com
You can’t pause an imported calendar. If you want to stop, you will need to disconnect the calendar. To remove a synced calendar, follow the directions below.

  1. Login to your SSRNJ.com account.
  2. Click “CALENDAR” on the listing you want to update.
  3. Click “EDIT” next to the imported calendar (ex: VRBO) you want to refresh or remove.
  4. To refresh the calendar, click on “REFRESH CALENDAR”.
  5. To remove the calendar, click on “DISCONNECT CALENDAR”.
